Oh, this is just too neat. I love the surreal microcosm you've created in this piece. And you know what really does it for me? The strings suspending everything. The entire city in his head is a lot like the entire city of characters inside all of our heads.

Sehr schön! Die Farben finde ich erstaunlich. Er hat so etwas zauberhaft-puppenhaftes (und das Bild erinnert mich jetzt wirklich an eine Bühne mit diesen Felsen-Lagen), interessant wie Du diese räumlichen Sachen wie die flauschigen Wolken mit den flachen Objekten verbindest. Nur die Berge hätten etwas härter, felsiger wirken können, finde ich, mehr Kontrast zur Textur der Wolken - aber ich weiß natürlich nicht, ob Du das so beabsichtigt hast. Irgendwie erinnert mich das jetzt an Neil Gaiman und ich wüsste zu gern, was Dich so inspiriert.

das mit den Felsen war erst so, wie du vorgeschlagen hast, hab ich aber dann im Laufe mit versuchten Nebelschwaden abrunden wollen. am Schluss war ich mir selbst nicht sicher, ob Nebel ja oder nein, wäre wohl besser ohne..
Neil Gaiman? Ist das nicht ein Comic Artist? Muss ich mal nachforschen
Zu dem Bild hat mich ehrlich gesagt die neue Platte von Devin Townsend (Synchestra) inspiriert, aber auch ein Artikel über Individualismus, den ich neulich im Netz gelesen habe.
